These are great words, thank you! I knew when we went through this that God was going to use this in my life to help others, and it looks like He is going to use you greatly as well! I miscarried as well, years ago, alone and bereft of human comforters. My husband was cold and distant. He waited until visiting hours were over, just short of 5 minutes, before coming to "visit" me. Some "friends" said terrible things. Some friends said nothing. One friend did comfort me, God bless her! I hemmorhaged afterwards because my doctor failed to give me a D&C.I couldn't go to the hospital because I had no one to care for my 2 children. God helped me. I grieved for years. This is not an easy journey for a woman who loves her babies. Thank God He was there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7554897177570092839.post-91251228053655805042012-05-22T07:44:40.471-05:002012-05-22T07:44:40.471-05:00Megan, "I'm praying for you" is a wo...Megan, "I'm praying for you" is a wonderful thing to say. We were greatly comforted knowing our friends were praying for us. I didn't include prayer as a way to minister because I guess I wanted to offer suggestions that some people wouldn't think of, but prayer is at the top of the list of helpful expressions of concern.Heather Peetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14286555684480155948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7554897177570092839.post-11899666746372685772012-05-22T07:20:10.392-05:002012-05-22T07:20:10.392-05:00It is so interesting that you would post this now....It is so interesting that you would post this now. The Lord has brought you to my mind the last couple days and especially yesterday I spent time praying for you and Nathan. I don't understand the pain you have, but I realized yesterday that you probably were still sad and thinking about your baby in Heaven. Thank you for the post. I am one of those that doesn't say anything for fear of saying the wrong thing. I normally only say, "I am praying for you." and then I do. I am praying for you Heather, and the rest of the family.Megan Knighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14016405251049245017noreply@blogger.com
